After bathing him, putting him into his regular Teddy Bear trim, and spraying him with dog cologne, we duly put him into the waiting cage whilst his mum came for him. Little be known to us, whilst we were getting on with grooming the other dogs in the salon, Fudge was having a whale of a time. He had decided to do a number 2 in his cage and not only did he walk in it, oh no, that would not be good enough, Fudge had to roll in it. This little dog came in a cream colour and when he had finished he was a brown colour. We quickly put him back in the bath and gave him another 2 shampoos, and would you know it his mum came back! Needless to say, she had a little wait ahead of her!

Word of Mouth!
The other day we received a telephone call from a lady in Sheffield. She was ringing to book in her Bedlington Terrier, and this was the story she told us. She has had her Bedlington Terrier trimmed at numerous grooming salons and vowed never to have him groomed again, until she could find a salon she could trust, because the places where she had taken him, made so many mistakes including being shaved all over and also being cut (literally) and made to bleed!
Anyway, one fine day she was walking in Whitby of all places when she saw a man walking towards her with a Bedlington Terrier, she asked him how he got the dogs hair looking so fantastic and she thought the dog was a show dog. He told her that he took him to a grooming salon in Huddersfield called Hair ‘n’ Houndz. The lady in question didn’t hesitate to get the number and rang us when she got back home. We told her that we are currently fully booked 5 week in advance but she was not deterred about the wait, she had found her salon at last!
